The UCL Division of Psychiatry, located within the Faculty of Brain Sciences, is a world-renowned centre of excellence in mental health research. About the role
An enthusiastic individual is sought for this part-time post in the Whitehall II study, a prestigious longitudinal cohort study which provides an exciting and dynamic environment. This post offers an excellent opportunity for the right applicant to develop a career in research programme management and university administration.
The post holder will be a member of the Whitehall II Study Team which includes scientific and support staff. The post holder will have administrative and managerial responsibilities for the study programme, and will also liaise with external agencies.
Appointment details:
- This is a part time 0.4 FTE post and is available from 01 September 2023 until 31 January 2024 in the first instance.
- The salary for this post is on grade 8, the annual salary for which ranges from £48,614 - £57,041 per annum (full time equivalent), including London allowance.
About you
The postholder will hold an academic agree or equivalent experience and have experience of project management for research studies or trials. Experience of managing large budgets and handling confidential information is essential. The postholder will have a methodical and accurate approach to work with attention to detail and a flexible attitude to work, including the ability to take up new tasks when required without supervision. Experience of contributing to grant applications, including the drafting of Justification of Resources sections, recruitment and chairing meetings with large number of people would be desirable, but not essential.
