Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing, building, maintaining, and continuously improving the tools that help tell the story around the pilot staffing plan. These tools will help set expectations around the level of risk in the plan, show how the plan has evolved over time, and properly track pilots throughout the system to ensure continuity in the plans month after month. The principal will also closely with Manpower & Training Planning Teams to develop and validate the reports needed to properly run the crew operation. In addition to being an owner of the tools, the principal will help lead and coach the team to development the insights of the story.
- Work closely with the Manpower and Training Planning Teams to develop, build, and fully utilize the tools necessary to properly tell the story of crew planning. This includes, but is not limited to supply, training & demand audits, model over model variances, 360 feedback loops and developing metrics that help convey the level of risk in the plan to senior leadership.
- Work closely with AI on the development and implementation of the new pilot long term planning and optimization models, identifying areas of risk and helping to create a full 12-month validation and continued tracking moving forward to allow for easy auditing.
- Create a monthly handoff to Crew Scheduling identifying areas of concern at the Fleet / Seat / Base / Date level going into the month and helping the scheduling team develop tools need to run the day-to-day operation more efficiently with deeper data-driven situational awareness and outlook.
- Work closely with Flight Ops Finance on developing methodology for creating more accurate forecasting creating a naturally flow that explain the variances from month to month.
- Create the Pilot Planning “Playbook” explaining the methodologies and sources for all information relevant to developing crew plan that can be passed off.

Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience developing pilot plans
- Demonstrated working knowledge of developing models and reports related workforce planning
- Organization and planning skills

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Business or Supply Chain
- 3-5 years' experience in developing pilot plans
