Summary of Position
Are you a skilled communications professional with a passion for driving impactful messaging and thought leadership in the healthcare and technology space? Teladoc Health, the global leader in whole person care, is seeking a dynamic Senior Program Manager- Communications & Media Relations, to oversee internal and external communications, public relations, and marketing activities for our esteemed BEACONs organization. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with our PR and marketing teams, strategically aligning communication efforts and addressing resource limitations for engineering-focused initiatives. As the trusted advisor to our Chief Innovation Officer (CIO), you will curate engaging content, craft compelling articles, and enhance the CIO's executive presence through a weekly blog on LinkedIn. Your keen eye for detail and strategic acumen will shine as you manage the creation of content and presentations for the CIO's monthly dialogues, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and communication style. In addition, you will play a key role in amplifying the CIO's voice, managing requests for podcast interviews, external seminars, and other media appearances that align with our overarching communication strategy. With a preferred background in the technology space, you will quickly grasp healthcare industry knowledge, adapt communication strategies, and support the CIO's monthly emails and learning sessions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee internal and external communications, public relations (PR), and marketing activities for BEACONs, ensuring consistent and effective messaging.
- Collaborate with PR and marketing teams to align communication efforts and address resource limitations for engineering-focused initiatives.
- Evaluate speaking engagement opportunities for the Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) and determine their appropriateness based on strategic alignment and impact.
- Assist the CIO in crafting and editing various articles, including a weekly blog on LinkedIn, to enhance thought leadership and executive presence.
- Manage the creation of content, messaging, and presentations for the CIO's monthly CIO dialogues, aligning with the CIO's strategic goals and communication style.
- Maintain and update the SharePoint site for BEACONs, including regular innovation blog posts and other relevant updates.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to junior team members, such as administrative work and updating the SharePoint site.
- Take a leadership role in developing communication strategies to effectively convey the CIO's messages, while building and maintaining relationships with the corporate team.
- Act as a thought partner and bridge between the CIO and the corporate team to ensure seamless collaboration and complementary efforts.
- Manage requests for podcast interviews, external seminars and other media appearances, strategically assessing opportunities that align with the overall communication strategy.
- Identify additional avenues and platforms where the CIO's voice can be amplified to enhance thought leadership and increase visibility.
- Coordinate award nominations and submissions on behalf of the CIO within the BEACONs organization.
- Preferred background in the technology space, with the ability to quickly grasp healthcare industry knowledge and adapt communication strategies accordingly.
- Resourcefulness and ability to learn new concepts and technologies swiftly to support the CIO's communication needs.
- Assist the CIO in preparing monthly emails and supplemental learning sessions, including drafting decks and presentations.

Qualifications Expected for Position
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
- Experience working with internal and external communications, public relations (PR), and marketing to ensuring consistent and effective messaging
- Experience evaluating speaking engagement opportunities for the Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) and determine their appropriateness based on strategic alignment and impact
- Experience in crafting and editing various articles to enhance thought leadership and executive presence
- Experience managing the creation of content, messaging, and presentations for the CIO. This work includes monthly dialogues, aligning with the CIO's strategic goals and communication style.
- Experience taking a leadership role in developing communication strategies to effectively convey the CIO's messages.
- Experience working cross functionally with other communications teams, marketing, PR teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Effectively managing interviews and other media appearances, while strategically assessing opportunities that align with the overall communication strategy.
- Ability to identify additional avenues and platforms where the CIO's voice can be amplified to enhance thought leadership and increase visibility.
- Preferred background in the technology space, with the ability to quickly grasp healthcare industry knowledge and adapt communication strategies accordingly.
- Resourcefulness and ability to learn new concepts and technologies swiftly to support the CIO's communication needs.
The base salary range for this position is $XX,XXX - $XX,XXX. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for performance bonus, RSU’s, and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc Health Benefits 2023 . Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.
