About the Trust
The Trust is one of the largest specialist mental health providers in the country, providing inpatient and community-based mental health care for people living in Bolton, the city of Manchester, Salford, Trafford and Wigan, and a wide range of specialist mental health and addiction services across Greater Manchester, the north west of England and beyond.
What you’ll be responsible for:
· Reporting to Interim: Director of Transformation the post holder will contribute to the overall management and leadership for service development, transformation and business/ resource planning for the Community Transformation in keeping with the Trusts’ strategic objectives, annual business plan.
· Working in alignment with the small GMMH CT Team the post holder will operate across both Health and Social Care organisational structures (where relevant) and within the context of an overall budget. The post holder will ensure the management of the CT programme of work is firmly embedded into GMMH governance structure. This will include co-ordination of the various elements of the CT programme and developing reporting structures within the governance framework to keep everyone undated re progress, challenges and risks.
· The post holder will support the development of shared objectives promoting a culture of collaborative working and empowering staff to achieve both performance and transformational change initiatives with the CT work.
You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
· Excellent communication skills- both verbal and written
· Microsoft office skills- Outlook, Word, and Excel
· Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
· Previous managerial experience
· Large scale program management experience
