Job description
Catholic Charities Atlanta is seeking an experienced Program Manager to manager our Adult Education Program. The ideal candidate will have a Masters degree with a minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience, experience with grant management and reporting, understanding of accreditation standards and experience working with multicultural populations. Must have flexibility to work both day and evening hours. TESOL certification required.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the Adult Educational services (IELCE and Citizenship Classes) to eligible clients according to the stipulations of Agency policies and procedures, funding source regulations and accepted “best practices’.
- Supervise and review date records for all clients, in accordance with Agency/Program policies and procedures and funding source regulations. Assure that program services consistently meet identified benchmarks as prescribed by immediate supervisor and funding source (e.g., specified number of new clients each month, reports submitted on time).
- Prepare and complete all necessary reports requested by your immediate supervisor in order to comply with all the funding sources and PQI requirements
- Prepare and consolidate a volunteer report for all IELCE and Citizenship Class sites.
- Assist and support Lead Instructors with the supervision and coordination of volunteers at the sites.
- Coordinate and provide ongoing professional development opportunities for instructional staff (volunteersand paid staff).
- Develop knowledge of community resources and partnerships with community leaders and agencies.
- Become knowledgeable of issues affecting the low-income community in the area of services.
- Develop and maintain a good working relationship with churches in the area
- Assist Program Director in the recruitment and interview process of new staff, volunteers, and/or interns.
- Work with Program Director to provide initial and on-going training opportunities for program staff, volunteers, and interns.
- Work with the Program Director to seek out additional funding opportunities.
- Responsible for meeting with immediate supervisor on a regular basis and actively uses supervision to strengthen skills and grow as a professional. Responsible for meeting individual benchmarks and other performance measures. Addresses areas of concern in a timely and productive manner. Remains open to feedback from team members and supervisors
