Job description
The Board of Electors invites applications for the Professorship of Control Engineering (2023) in the Department of Engineering at the University of Cambridge. Candidates will have an outstanding research record of international stature in the control engineering field and the vision, leadership, experience and enthusiasm to build on current strengths in maintaining and developing a leading research presence in the Cambridge control group. The candidature is open without limitation or preference to all persons whose work falls within the general field of Control Engineering.
Standard professorial duties include teaching and research, examining, supervision and administration. The Professor will be based in Cambridge. A competitive salary will be offered. The Board of Electors is seeking a candidate to take up appointment on 1 April 2024 or as soon as possible thereafter.
