Job Description:
The Department of Psychology at Wake Forest University invites applications for a tenure-track position beginning in July 2024 in the area of Culture and Well-being. We seek applicants with a primary research program focused on the intersection between well-being and culture broadly defined, including but not limited to a) cross-cultural comparisons; b) the influence of race/ethnicity, c) social class, sexuality, and other marginalized identities; d) clinical populations; or e) organizational/political culture. Applicants may approach the intersection of well-being and culture from any subdiscipline of psychology.
The department prioritizes rigorous scholarship, excellent teaching, and strong methodological skills and seeks a colleague who is committed to the Teacher-Scholar model. The successful candidate will teach courses in their area(s) of expertise as well as more general courses at the undergraduate and/or graduate level, conduct programmatic research, supervise undergraduate and graduate student research, and be committed to diversity and inclusion as core values. Applicants should plan to have received their PhD by July 1st 2024 to be considered for this position.
