Position Details
The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering offers bachelors and masters degree programs in mechanical engineering and aerospace engineering, and a doctoral program in mechanical engineering. The department currently enrolls a diverse population of about 650 students and has a rapidly growing aerospace program. Both undergraduate programs are accredited by EAC/ABET. - Develop an innovative, externally funded, independent research program.
- Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the department.
- Support and value our culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in research and teaching, and possess expertise in a space-related field.
- Participate and maintain departmental research objectives.
- Earned Doctorate degree or equivalent in aerospace engineering or a related field is required for employment from an accredited institution.
