Perform Teaching Duties for two physical education classes: Lifetime Physical Wellness and Basic Weight Training for Life. Participate as needed in curricular modifications.
Major Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present lectures;
- Meet with students as needed to answer questions;
- Respond to student queries (e.g. email or voice mail) as needed, in a reasonably timely manner;
- Write, administer, and grade all student assignments and exams;
- Compute grades and submit them on time.
Required:
Master's degree in Health, Wellness, Physical Education, Exercise Science, or Public Health OR
Master's degree in Education with 18 graduate level credits in related field;
Significant experience/certification for the activity taught
Preferred:
Bilingual in English and Spanish. English and another language will be considered.
Additional Information:
The probationary adjunct rate is $1371 per credit hour.
