Under the general direction of the Program Director, Organizational Leadership Programs, the Core Faculty member teaches within the MA and Ph.D. programs, supervises credit and non-credit research, including thesis and dissertation projects, and provides mentorship to students. The Core Faculty member collaborates with the Program Director to ensure effective operations, compliance, and execution of the strategic plan(s) of the program. The Core Faculty member supports culture development, management efforts, and other initiatives geared toward helping the growth and improvement of the programs (i.e. serving as a cohort mentor, program and course review, presentations for prospective students, etc). The Core Faculty member plays an active role on the Online Campus, and as such, will be part of academic governance (Online Faculty Council) and be a member of academic committees.


Education/Experience:

  • Doctoral degree in oganizational leadership, industrial/organizational psychology, management studies, or a related discipline required.
  • Minimum two (2) years relevant experience supporting students in an online learning environment required.
  • Past teaching experience in a on-ground or online teaching environment, specifically in organizational leadership and/or industrial/organizational psychology.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Teaches courses within programs.
  • Supervises dissertations and thesis projects within the programs.
  • Supports implementation, evaluation, and annual review of each academic program’s education outcomes including program outcomes, student learning outcomes and faculty outcomes.
  • Supports timely development of programmatic Student Learning Outcome Assessment Program (SLOAP) reports and other assessment data. Works closely with program faculty to ensure assessment data is utilized to improve curriculum and student learning outcomes.
  • Supports implementation of all programmatic requirements, including practicum, dissertation, and thesis (as applicable).
