SALES PROFESSIONAL - SCOTLAND REGION – RAF- 3335

Crosbys Catering Supplies Limited are looking to recruit an experienced Sales Professional for their Scotland Region to complement our existing team. Offering a variety of tableware, glassware, janitorial and light equipment products, the scope of this extremely interesting sales role is endless.

Role Overview:

Reporting to the General Manager this role is responsible for covering Scotland. The ideal candidate will be based at our ScoMac offices in Livingston. As a key part to this exciting role, you will be required to identify and maintain relationships with new and existing customers and meeting sales targets agreed. Other duties involved in this role:

Main duties will include:

  • Planning and prioritising area sales and customer activities.
  • Manage product/service mix, pricing and margins according to agreed targets with help from the Sales Manager.
  • Maintain and develop existing and new customers to optimise quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Update and maintain customer and prospective contacts, internal systems and respond and follow up all sales enquiries.
  • Communicate, liaise and negotiate at customer meetings and attend quarterly internal Company functional meetings.
  • Working closely with the ScoMac salesforce to develop cross selling opportunities providing and receiving leads.
  • Arrange customer meetings at the showroom in Livingston and maintenance of appropriate samples therein.
  • Any other duties commensurate with the development of sales.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Must be flexible to travel.
  • Must be able to hit the ground running and demonstrate a positive attitude to learn new skills and product knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ensure a commitment to your customer service is paramount.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own with self-motivation.
  • Must be ambitious and want to achieve both personal and Company goals / targets ensuring that they are set, met and exceeded.
  • A full driving licence.

What we offer in return:

  • Full time, permanent contract.
  • This role offers £23,000 basic salary plus a target bonus and commission.
  • 29 days holiday (inclusive of annual, bank/public days)
