Job description
The post holder will work in conjunction with the Professional Education and Development Co-ordinator to support the implementation and efficient management of a number of new and existing education and development programmes within MFT, including Nursing and Midwifery Induction, multi-professional Preceptorship and the Clinical Skills Education Programmes.
The post holder will support the Trust education, training and development strategies by the delivery of education programmes under the direction of the Professional Education and Development Co-ordinator.
The post holder will be required to act as an exemplary role model for new starters and preceptees exhibiting the expected Trust values and behaviours.
Support the ongoing implementation and review of the Nursing and Midwifery Induction, Clinical Skills, Multi-professional Preceptorship and other professional education and development programmes across MFT.
Deliver and facilitate teaching on the Nursing and Midwifery Induction, Clinical Skills, Multiprofessional Preceptorship and other professional education and development programmes across MFT.
Be visible in the clinical environments across MFT and support the development of relevant clinical skills as required.
Contribute to the development of all learning environments by proactively promoting a learning culture and leading by example, thus contributing to quality standards of care and improvement.
Audit the effectiveness of the education and development programmes, and the support offered to new starters and staff undertaking the programmes.
Role model quality standards of care and behaviour through own clinical practice.
