Job description
About us
Right at Home Loughborough - delivering high quality home care in North Leicestershire.
Are you an experienced care professional who feels you are not recognised as such? Are you a university or college graduate, who has worked hard to achieve good grades, who now finds job opportunities in your field are few? Are you facing years of low paid, potentially unstable, junior level work in the hope that 'something comes along'. We could be that 'something' and it could be now.
A career in social care is not only offers the huge benefits of knowing that you are genuinely making a difference to people’s lives every day, but also a very clear and open career path. This begins with the Care Certificate and then escalates through the unique Right at Home 'Gold Standard' development programme.
Alongside this there are funded courses to achieve level two and three certificates in various principals of care, including Dementia Care, End of Life Care and Awareness of Mental Health Problems. For many the ultimate goal is a level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, the common qualification for the highly regarded and responsible role of Registered Manager.
It is entirely possible for a career minded, dedicated carer to join as a CareGiver and, by working hard and studying, which you know you are good at, rise through Senior CareGiver, Care-Coordinator, Deputy Manager and finally Registered Manager within five years. Right at Home Loughborough is a rapidly growing office in the National network of over 75 offices, with five in the East Midlands so career development is certainly not constrained by waiting for other to move up.
If you would like an informal chat regarding opportunities with us, or maybe we can signpost you to the best courses, please apply now.
