- Position: Plastic Production Operative
- Location: Pinxton
- Pay Rate: £10.65 per hour
- Shift Pattern: 3-shift rotating pattern - 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm/10pm-6am
Our client is a renowned manufacturer, specializing in injection moulding, blow moulding, and rotationally moulding high-quality and innovative plastic products. With over 40 machines at their facility, they cater to a global customer base, providing exceptional plastic solutions for various applications.
Role & Responsibilities: As a Plastic Production Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the production process. Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- - Wrapping pallets using available methods to secure products for transportation.
- - Receiving products from machine conveyor and organizing them for further processing.
- - Minding machines to monitor the production process and intervene when necessary.
- - Quality checking all products meticulously to maintain the highest standards before they are shipped out to the clients' customers.
- - Trimming excessive plastic from the products to ensure they meet quality requirements.
- - Packing products efficiently and accurately after they have been quality checked at the end of the production line.
- - Pulling pallets to the warehouse pallet collection area for storage and distribution.
Requirements:
- - Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is advantageous but not mandatory, as full training will be provided.
- - Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
- - Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality output.
