Position: Production/Despatch Operative

Pay Rate: £10.52 per hour

Working Hours: 08:30 am - 17:00 pm, Monday to Friday

Reports to: Production Manager

Key Relationships: Other members of the production/despatch team, and other staff.

Purpose:
We are seeking a dedicated Production/Despatch Operative to contribute to the success of our company, a leading manufacturer in formulating and producing high-performance resin and polymer compounds. With a competitive pay rate of £10.52 per hour and convenient working hours from 08:30 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, this role offers an excellent opportunity to be a valued part of our team.

Company Profile:
We are a thriving, privately owned company located in Kineton, Warwickshire. We specialize in formulating, manufacturing, and selling a wide range of resin and polymer compounds, using Epoxy resin, Polyurethane, and Silicone raw materials.

Main Duties:

• Operate production machinery to manufacture products and develop a strong understanding of our materials and processes.
• Pick, pack, and label goods accurately to ensure flawless despatch to our valued customers.
• Participate in monthly stock audits and regular team briefings to maintain efficient operations.
• Conduct testing on manufactured products to meet quality specifications and report any deviations to the Quality Manager.
• Ensure efficient material handling, correct stock rotation, and safe storage of goods.
• Implement improved working practices to enhance production efficiency.
• Provide occasional cover in production or despatch departments when needed.
• Assist in training new team members within the department.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Numeracy, literacy, and basic computer skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration with colleagues at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivated with a focus on maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
