Job description
Job description includes assembly and manufacture of devices, including both assembly and testing, all in a quality system for the manufacture of life support equipment. Skill with hand tools, the ability to work on your feet for a long period of time, and a solid work ethic will be crucial for the ideal candidate, but experience with medical devices will not, since these skills will be trained regardless. Experience with our specific products will not even be a benefit; it is essential that we complete the training from start to finish regardless, and all processes will be fully trained on-site.
Right now, the major positions of availability within our organization are not entry-level. As a result, this is the ideal opportunity for a trainable person to enter our production team with a view to moving towards one of the more skilled roles. As always, we don't have the facility to give anything other than full role-appropriate training, so no prior experience needed - we're looking for someone keen to learn and get stuck into a more challenging assembly role soon.
The working hours are a 39-hour work-week (8-4:30 with breaks) and no temporary or lower hour employment will be considered. Starting wage will be above the Living Wage, and for the correct candidate will increase with time and training. We are looking to hire rapidly, and introduce a couple of successful candidates to our team starting as soon as possible.
