The Business
Escape Live are a multi award winning business widely regarded as the best escape room experience business in the UK. They have six sites across the UK and partnerships with known brands such as The Peaky Blinders and Horrible Histories. During the Coronavirus pandemic the business was an industry leader in developing online escape game content and now has a big online inventory as well as it’s physical locations.
Over the next 5 years Escape Live want to firmly establish their No.1 position in the market as well as opening new sites across the UK.
Job Purpose
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new sales and revenue opportunities. They will work closely with the marketing team to bring the opportunities to life as well as pitching our services to clients to win business. They will organise and attend events, network, develop relationships with partners and customers to drive sales and achieve targets and KPIs.
Reporting to the Sales Director, the successful candidate will be supported within the sales and marketing department and the wider operations business giving them a 360 insight into the business and goals.
Escape Live is ranked as one the best escape room businesses in the country and the successful candidate will need to not only maintain the high levels of sales and service, but also suggest and implement improvements.
Key Responsibilities
● Identify new revenue streams through third party partnerships.
● Contact, network and prospect with third parties to sell our services.
● Nurture existing commercial relationships (direct and third party) to maximise revenue.
● Demonstrate excellence in selling our services to direct clients.
● Organise and attend networking events to develop relationships and showcase products/services.
● Demonstrate effective outbound sales strategy to bring in new customers.
● Work closely with the marketing department to create and improve sales assets.
● Plan, organize, set up and sell events at Escape Live
Relevant Experience
The candidate must have 3+ years’ experience in B2B Sales and be able to demonstrate the ability to generate new business and a high-level of account management. The candidate will ideally have experience in the leisure sector but not essential, experience in the escape room industry is a bonus.
Candidates must be proficient with general work software such as Microsoft Office, Google for Business and be able learn to use new software such as booking systems and CRM quickly.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-20 per week
Salary: £12,500.00-£16,000.00 per year
