We are looking to employ around 8 Bakery/Warehouse operatives commencing in mid May.
Job Purpose
To work within the plant in the capacity of a Bakery and warehouse operative and provide consistently high quality products on time and to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, both internal and external. Also to comply with Health and Safety and other associated legislation. The position will involve working 12 hour shifts and will require nights and weekend working. Operate a FLT and Ensuresafe loading of the finished goods to vehicles for despatch to our business partners.
Must be prepared to work 12 hour shifts on days and nights. Also shifts will run over the weekends on some weeks.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
To carry out duties in the bakery and goods-in areas as required by the demands of the business at any particular time.
Day to Day supply of trays:
· Unload reusable trays returning from NDC/RDC & Restaurants
· Sortation in to type
· Move to temporary storage facility
· Feed in to wash system for delivery to production line
· Working with co-workers ensure that sufficient product type is being fed into the production facility to avoid disruption to output
Despatch of finished goods:
· Retrieve packed product from packing line
· Move to despatch and store based on product type
· Load to designated vehicle for despatch to NDC/RDC
Goods in:
· Assist, where required, with the unloading of raw materials
· Storage of raw materials in line with Goods In Co-ordinators instructions following food safety and FIFO stock rotation
Compliance of departmental and business policies and objectives:
· Follow H&S and Food safety regulations at all times
· Work as a team to ensure production targets are met
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Previous experience of working within a Production and warehouse environment, with counter balance and / or Reach Truck certification. PPT experience also an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided for the right applicant.

Hours:
- 0600 – 1800hrs & 1800 – 0600hrs
- 4 / 4 shift pattern rotating nights and days
- Unsociable Hours Uplift
- Overtime Available at time and a half
- £13 p/h basic rate
