We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a IT Technician. The successful candidate join their busy workshop team near Woodbridge, Suffolk.

Salary and package:
- Salary: £24,000 (negotiable depending on experience)
- Office Based
- Full Time: Monday - Friday 9:00 - 17:00
- 20 days paid holiday plus bank holidays
- Business closed for Christmas (holiday entitlement not impacted)
- On-site parking available
- Enrolled into a company pension
- Diligent, conscientious with a strong attention to detail who takes great pride in the quality of their work
- Must be IT literate with experience in working in an IT environment particularly a background working in stores, being hands on and building products from the ground up
- Have a passion for building PC's and Hardware, competent on the tools and ready to hit the ground running
- Firsthand experience working with electronics as you will be required to wire kit up to be connected to mains
- Good communicator with good interpersonal skills
- Great work ethic, with a proactive and positive approach to work
- Hands-on determination and persistence to get the job done
- Stock control qualities beneficial
- Installing electronic components into hardware
- Installing software and configuring applications
- Quality controlling products before they leave the premises
- Bench testing and repairing faulty hardware, such as PC's
- Keeping your work area tidy
- Following the company Health and Safety policy
- Completing build checklists
- Help with ensuring any documentation relating to install manuals etc. Are kept up to date
- Help with ensuring all new equipment received from suppliers is booked into stock correctly and accounted for / allocated accordingly
- Assisting with periodical stock takes
- Liaising with suppliers
