Production Support – Nottingham
Do you want to contribute to the future of healthcare? Siemens Healthineers is recruiting for a Production Support Technician to assist in the manufacturing of PET radiopharmaceuticals. The role will involve the packaging and shipping of PET Radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with ADR regulations, at our cyclotron facility on the Nottingham.
The role will help to ensure that the requirements of radiopharmaceutical production, Radiation Compliance, Health and Safety, Good Manufacturing Practice and licensing commitments are met.

What are my key responsibilities?
- Responsible for the cleaning of GMP clean rooms and laboratory’s
- Flexible in approach to work for manufacturing according to customer demands and business needs including some weekends.
- Assist in facility preparation for MHRA and EA inspections where required.
- Ensure adequate stock levels of consumables required for production are maintained.
- Provide administrative support with archiving of documentation, materials control and other tasks where required.
- Work with other PETNET staff to ensure alignment of operational processes and back up capabilities across all PETNET sites.
- Operation of our cyclotron particle accelerator.
- Preparation of Type A containers and regulatory documentation for shipment of radiopharmaceuticals to ADR (carriage of dangerous goods) regulations
- Routine shipment of dangerous goods in accordance with cGMP and site SOP’s to ensure adherence to ADR regulations
- Liaising with couriers and customers to ensure timely deliveries of radiopharmaceuticals to customer sites.
What do I need to qualify for this role?
- The ideal candidate would have experience of working with ionising radiation, although full training would be provided.
- Experience of working in a GMP pharmaceutical production facility
- Good communication skills and experience in a customer facing role would be beneficial

The successful candidate would be required to work in accordance with a shift pattern which involves routine night and weekend working.
