Job description
Responsibilities:
- Leading with safety, empower the team, act as a coach and drive a culture where safety is everyone’s top priority
- Provide support, set and review progress against goals and behaviours, offer guidance through coaching, mentoring and 1:1 meetings
- Maintaining regular communication with the team ensuring that relevant information reaches the wider team across all levels
- Be the driving force continuously in search for best practices; safer, better, faster and consistent standards
- Coach and develop your team to ensure business succession plans and individual career aspirations are met.
- Maintaining regular communication with inter departmental heads, such as technical and sales to support the planning and execution of production goals efficiently and within budgeted cost
- Help build, train and develop high performing teams, and define clear career progression opportunities for staff within the production area, encourage participation in weekly/monthly meetings, suggestion box, staff rep, etc…
- Manage team’s attendance and lateness in accordance with business policy and procedures
- Monitor, record and manage waste, whether packaging or materials it is kept within targets
- Monitor and manage individual and team’s performance
- Conducts performance reviews with direct reports
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £33,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
