About the Role:


We are currently hiring a Runner to support our Production and Editorial team. The role requires adept organisational skills, resourcefulness and the ability to handle a multitude of tasks simultaneously under often high-pressure situations.


What You’ll Do:

  • Provide excellent hospitality services for our client visits and large team meetings
  • Make arrangements for food when there are team meetings over lunch and order dinner for late night staff and supporting wider team initiatives as required
  • Undertake research tasks for the Production and Editorial Teams
  • Undertake travel research and preparation where required
  • Input Metadata where required
  • Assist the Operations and IT team with desk moves, preparing kit bags for shoots, fetching and carrying items and handling deliveries to external departments or 'runs' to fetch items for staff when needed
  • Assist with daily populating of call sheets
  • Assist with printing, preparing the ipads and/or archiving scripts / running orders / and keeping track of schedules
  • Assist the Production team with logging and tracking invoices
  • Offer administrative support to manage internal and external post, paper shredding, photocopying, etc
  • Help prepare presentation materials
  • Organise the hiring of equipment
  • Assist Production and Editorial teams with general errands on series production ad-hoc duties
  • Respond as appropriate for emergencies and urgent issues as they arise

What you will bring:


  • A strong desire to work in animation or TV production
  • Some experience as a runner and an understanding of the Production and recording process is preferable
  • Proven qualities of adaptability and flexibility in coping with rapidly changing circumstances and ability to prioritise and exercise practical judgement as circumstances change.

  • Evidence of interpersonal and communication skills strong enough to establish credibility with colleagues and to foster strong working relationships with a wide range of people
  • The ability to communicate ideas and information clearly and concisely, as well as listen to, understand and interpret information and instructions accurately
  • Ability to work in an highly organised way and able to re-prioritise as needed
  • A Solutions-oriented focus and ability to think logically and creatively to resolve issues
  • Have the capability to work under your own initiative and remain calm under pressure

IT Skills

  • Mac or PC proficient
  • Experience of working on Google Workspace, and knowledgeable use of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Possess a basic understanding of spreadsheets (e.g Excel/Google Sheets) and trackers
  • Some experience of using Adobe Acrobat and Photoshop is desirable but not necessary.
