We provide safe and responsible packaging, supply, and inventory to some of the biggest brands in the UK and Ireland.

Boran Mopack Ltd are excited to be recruiting for the position of Production Planner.

Reporting to the Production Manager you will responsible for timely execution of materials and production plans necessary to meet operational needs of the business. Your duties and responsibilities will include the following:

Job Responsibilities

  • To provide a reliable production plan to departmental managers within the agreed timescales.
  • Liaising with the Sales Team to plan and schedule customer orders according to required delivery dates.
  • Expedite operations and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
  • Monitor stock usage and material movements in the warehouse to ensure required stock levels are maintained for continuous operations.
  • Proactively resolve issues with internal decision makers.
  • Update and present long-range capacity status.
  • Monitor production processes, workflow and schedules to ensure on time deliveries.
  • Identify demand changes and manpower requirements.
  • To identify areas for change/improvement and lead projects to implement improvements.
  • To respond to urgent challenges due to issues within the factory, warehouse or logistics areas and proactively provide resolution.
  • Identify problem stock issues to the appropriate account managers in a timely manner.
  • Production data analysis and reporting.
  • Using LEAN manufacturing methods and principals to schedule workflow and increase productivity.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing/production role.
  • Highly proficiency in all Microsoft Office packages.
  • Strong Communication and Analytical skills.
  • Good standard of education.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver in a fast paced environment.
  • Knowledge of LEAN/Agile Supply Chain methods.
  • Ability to effectively problem solve.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
