James Chocolates are an award-winning, creative and innovative BRC Certified Chocolate Manufacturer based in Somerset, UK and the home of Nut Butter Cups and Chocolate Snacking Products. We have been making chocolate in our Somerset factory for over 27 years, and are experts in manufacturing for Nut Butter Brands and companies in the Healthy Lifestyle & Snacking sector.

We are looking for a Production & Packing Operative on the late shift 12:45pm - 21:00pm

This is a permanent role.

Job Responsibilities
*not limited to

- To work as assigned in the production area, operating machinery to make products to required recipes, yields and quality to deliver the production plan.

- To assist in all aspects of the process from material supply, through to the packing of finished product

- To ensure continuous operation of the line through support of all team member
To ensure the correct supply of packaging and ingredients are collected from the warehouse

- To raise any issues with Senior Production Operative as and when required

- To always adhere to all company and site policies

- To ensure quality standards are maintained and improved by reducing wastage and re-work levels

- To undertake any other reasonable duties assigned by the Supervisor to maintain the flow of production

- To ensure maintenance of good housekeeping and health & safety standards within the department and the site

- To ensure compliance with Food Hygiene and Safety rules and standards

Full training and PPE will be given.

Salary: £11.17 per hour

Holiday: 28 days holiday plus additional day off for your birthday.
