Job description
The Low Risk department is keen to promote excellent team work by employing people who have a positive (can do) attitude. By achieving this, the department is in the best position to supply the meals department in an efficient manner. We aim to not only achieve our targets but improve on them as well.
The role is concerned with supplying the kitchens with the materials needed for cooking in the pots. You will have days where you will be supplying to 11 cooking pots, as well as participating in helping chefs out with cooking, paperwork and scanning of input materials.

Responsibilities:- Supply low risk kitchen department with right materials at the right time
- Scan products into the right area to ensure traceability is present and POs have the right input of materials
- Control left over stock and apply First in, First out (F.I.F.O) methodology
- Complete paperwork 100% fully, accurately and legibly – this is a legal requirement
- It is also expected that persons in this role will be expected to be able to work in other areas as required
- Help the business be environmentally friendly by keeping waste to a minimum (e.g. making products right first time)
Essential:
- Level 2 Food Hygiene or prepared to study for the qualification
- A good level of English - written and spoken
- A good level of Maths
- Experience in SAP and scanning is not essential, but will be deemed a bonus during the interview
Personal Qualities:
- Have a positive attitude; will have to learn other tasks in the Prep Department if required
- Promote good team work – help others. “It’s not my job” does not promote good team work
- Have a desire to help the team meet the department targets
- Undertake any training made available/organised
