Our business is currently undergoing a period of growth and to support these exciting growth plans we are looking for production operators to join our busy team based in Colwyn Bay.
The Role
As a Production Operator you will be required to support in the application of super abrasive coatings for the Aerospace Industry. You will be working within a small team to perform your own tasks as well as supporting the other members of the team.
Required experience and abilities:

- Ability to work accurately and methodically and able to follow a fixed process whilst understanding the controls around a safety critical part manufacturing methodology.
- Ability to prioritise workload using an in-house system.
- Application of masking tape and/or paint to intricate parts by hand
- Ability to work accurately and follow technical/ job sheets
- Preparation for final inspection
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
- Excellent manual dexterity with attention to detail for long periods.
- Familiarity within Aerospace industry or Automotive would be advantageous with some knowledge of AS9100/ISO9001
- Health & Safety awareness
- Good computer skills
Salary
Base Salary: £23,000 (11.95 p/r) plus shift allowance if applicable (Mornings 6%, Afternoons/Twilight 20% and Nights 33%)
Hours of Work
Various shifts available Mornings, Afternoons and Night shift.
Training hours: Monday to Thursday 07:45 to 16:15 and Friday 07:45 to 12:45 (approx. 3 months)
