Job description
We are hiring* Production operatives, on a permanent basis to join our growing Upholstery team in Portadown. *The post holder will work across all aspects of production operations, ensuring that deadlines are met.
Responsibilities
- Ensure products are built to appropriate quality standards, right first time
- Ensure Health & Safety standards are adhered to at all times
- Maintain a safe, organised and efficient work area
- Ensure efficient production flow and make suggestions as to how work flow could be improved
- Escalate issues to line management as required
- Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with quality and safety regulations.

Requirements
Essential
- Experience in a production environment
- Pass in Maths and English GCSE or equivalent
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management skills.
- Strong communication and team working skills
- High regard for Health and Safety
- Demonstrable ability to use variety of hand tools
Desirable
- Good IT skills with working knowledge of MRP
- Metal work experience
- Upholstery experience
- Sewing machine experience
- Time served in aerospace industry
- Metal work experience
- Experience with working and producing templates
