We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Operative to join the friendly team at our Ashby site. As one of our Production Operatives, you'll work within an IWS line structure, reporting into the Line Lead.
The working hours are 24 hour shift (Saturday & Sunday, 12 hour shifts, 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am) rotating

Production Operatives are responsible for undertaking the following tasks:
- Competently operate numerous machines including packing and poppers
- Efficiently carry out any assigned operation or task, meeting all output targets
- Competently operate all flavour units across designated area including following all procedures for filling and recording of each unit
- Effectively contribute to improved line performance and efficiencies
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping, health & safety and hygiene standards
- Resolving running problems/issues
- Carrying out all testing procedures for product as and when required
- Ensuring all stages of work are checked against quality standards
- Cleaning of the units after a changeover or for a shut down
- Fully engaging with the IWS ways of working principles

The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience within manufacturing or the food industry (highly desirable)
- Level 2 in Food Safety for Manufacturing (desirable, although bespoke training is provided)
- A good standard of literacy and numeracy
- The ability to take ownership and accountability
- The ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy is imperative
- The ability to work independently as well as within a team
