Summary
Pringles Clear Solutions (PCS) is a Low-Voltage C-7 Contractor located in Watsonville California designing, selling, installing and supporting electronic systems for residential, commercial, and educational industry clients. We are seeking a qualified candidate for experienced Lead Technician or Technician for projects mostly located between Monterey and San Mateo Counties with occasional travel to remote client sites.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 5+ years experience as a Low Voltage Installer/Technician
- Valid CA Driver’s License, 18 years or older with a good driving record
- Dependable with good grammar and typing skills, the ability to multitask.
- Great verbal and communication skills.
- Detail oriented with focus on achieving results in a timely manner
- Strong problem solving and can work independently as well as in a team.
- Great general knowledge operating PC/Apple Computers, tablets and
- Smart phones.
- Understanding construction plans, diagrams, and documentation
- Punctual and demonstrates a great work ethic at all times
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug test
- Willing to travel out of the area periodically to remote job sites
Responsibilities
- Preform lead or Technician role at client sites
- Install audio, video, network, lighting control, window coverings, surveillance
- Access control, infrastructure cabling, and control systems
- Respond to service calls, troubleshoot system issues remotely ad on-site
- Utilize, create, and update project, progress, and punch-list documentations
- Provide your own basic hand tools for installation work. PCS will provide power Tools and specialty tools.
- Continuing education and training in our product lines.. Technologies and trends
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug test
- Build and install equipment racks with neatly dressed managed terminated and labeled wires
- Responsible for overseeing assistant technicians on the job site
- They are also responsible for instructing more-junior staff members on these Tasks.
- If assigned a company vehicle, maintain an accurate inventory of truck stock, vehicle.
Prior Experience
- Electronic low voltage installation Technician in all phases of construction and retrofit projects
- Experiencing troubleshooting problems with previously installed electronic systems
- Experience terminating cable to industry standard and testing
- Experience building racks and Installing equipment in mill work
- Document and Spreadsheet Applications
- Experience with major industry control system platforms i.e. Crestron, Crestron Home, Lutron, Lutron Homeworks, Savant, Control4 installation and configurations
- Experience configuring mainframe/enterprise network equipment
- Experience implementing best practices and calibrating audio and visual systems
- Experience with lighting focus and automation programming of installed controls
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $33.00 - $50.00 per hour
