Job Description
Following expansion with both new and existing customers, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Upholsterer’s to join the team at Gainsborough, part of Airsprung Group PLC. This role involves the assembly of our handmade sofa beds within the factory in Trowbridge, Wiltshire.
Please note that the company does not currently hold a sponsorship license.
What will you be doing?
The role involves:
- Upholstery of sofas and sofa beds to a high standard
- Following a work schedule to complete customer orders
- Use of staple gun, scissors and other hand tools
All vacancies are full time and permanent working Monday – Thursday 7.30am - 4.45pm and Friday 7.30am – 12.30pm. Flexible working hours available. No weekends apart from overtime at enhanced rates of pay.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for people who are self-motivated, excellent eye for detail and accuracy and be able to follow a work schedule. You must be able to cope with the physical demands of the job, have a good attitude towards work and work well as part of a team. Previous experience working in upholstery or divan upholsery is essential.
