Role: Production Operative
Line Manager: Production Manager
Job Summary:
The Production Operative is responsible for all aspects within the Production cycle
- Filling, Finishing, Packaging etc
Following GMP and Health and Safety guidelines
Completing products in a timely fashion and to a high quality standard
Working with other departments such as Stock Control to ensure products and components are correct
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing environment and equipment for filling operations
- Filling, crimping and shrouding operations
- Finishing operations, including plaquing, shielding, gemming, boxing and labelling
- Calibrating machines
- Sanitising production environment and keeping fit for packaging operations
- Reporting issues to QC and PM
- Ensuring quality of product in line with instruction and GMP requirements
- Following hygiene and health and safety requirements
- Ensuring products do not get mixed up, are properly segregated and labelled through the production process
