ROLE OBJECTIVE/PURPOSE
The collation, picking, packing and scanning of customer orders. To show a commitment to food safety, legality, quality and integrity, though you may be asked to carry out any other reasonable duties allocated by the Factory/Production Manager or other senior company employee as and where necessary.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensuring that correct products are picked in line with customer specifications and quantity, in the required packaging with the correct label and weight
- Ensuring that Hygiene and Health & Safety practices are adhered to at all times
- Carrying out cleaning procedures diligently to maintain good hygiene
- Following all documentation and returns procedures
- Checking all equipment and packaging is correct before use and reporting any defects to the Factory/Production Manager
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Previous employment in a factory/warehouse environment
- Knowledge of meat manufacturing & processing (desirable)
- Good communication skills, both written and oral
- IT literate
- A flexible approach to both duties and hours of work

WORKING HOURS
Working 45 hours a week on a 7am – 5pm shift, any 5 days of 7.
