What will this role of Production Operative / FLT Driver entail?
Reporting to the Team Leader, as Production Operative, you’ll join a close-knit team working within a busy factory environment, operating fork lift trucks and carrying out a range of duties to ensure a smooth and efficient operation. Your duties will include, although not be limited to:
· Operating a fork lift truck to load and unload vehicles
· Packing products onto pallets ready for loading and preparing vehicles for deliveries
· Assisting with the moving of shunting trailers around the yard
· Cleaning machinery and ensuring factory cleanliness is of a high standard at all times
· Ensuring customers receive products packaged in the way they expect
What will I need to be considered for this Production Operative / FLT Driver vacancy?
· Proven experience of working within a production / manufacturing role
· Experience of operating fork lift trucks, with a valid Counterbalance Forklift Training certificate
· Superb time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast paced, high standards and challenging environment
· Ability to work unsupervised on own initiative as well as part of a team
· Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels
· High level of attention to detail, with creative problem-solving skills
· A self-motivated and proactive approach, with a desire to succeed

Salary: Circa £25,415 per annum
Hours of Work: An average of 46 hours per week, over four 12 hour shifts including day and night shifts. You will work no more than five night shifts over a three week period, and one weekend out of three (only day shifts on weekends)
