My global client with offices based in Gateshead engineer solutions that unleash the power of big data and artificial intelligence. They have an exciting new post for a Enterprise Inside Sales Representative to join their expanding team.
Job purpose
· Targeted lead generation via outreach channels.
· Build and maintain customer relationships to the highest standards.
· Work closely with marketing and product managers to transform marketing leads in to sales leads and eventually opportunity
· Maximise sales and achieve sales targets in assigned territories, by following-up and qualifying enquiries, as well as renewing contracts with existing customers.
Key responsibilities
1. Promptly and professionally follow-up Marketing Qualified leads as well as inbounds from prospective and existing customers
2. Convert enquiries/leads into orders, predominately via telephone and/or e-mail interaction with our customers
3. Provide account management to named accounts designated to Inside Sales and identify new opportunities within
4. Engage with the Technical Team as appropriate to accelerate and/or intervene within an active sales opportunity
5. Convert enquiries/leads into qualified sales opportunities for our field sales force (i.e. sales/account executives and those of our reseller partners)
6. Proactively secure annual maintenance and subscription renewals from existing customers
7. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by continuously identifying, qualifying and nurturing leads.
8. Leverage CRM tools such as salesforce to effectively manage and track all sales activities, ensuring a streamlined and efficient sales process.
9. Utilise various sales techniques to generate leads and establish new business relationships.
10. Maintain a high level of professionalism and product knowledge, staying up to date with latest features, integrations and potential industry use cases.
11. Collaborate with cross functional teams, including marketing, customer success and product development, to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach to sales and customer satisfaction.
12. Actively contribute to a positive and high performing sales team culture, sharing best practices, insights and learnings to drive continuous improvement and success.
13. As the first point of contact, you must uphold the company’s core values and commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences, ensuring that every interaction reflects the brands reputation for quality, innovation and service.
Skills and experience
Essential:
· Highly motivated and extremely driven
· Excellent written and spoken English with proficiency in written business & technical English
· The ability to work well with cross-functional and multicultural teams
· A track record in meeting targets & KPI's
· A friendly, approachable, courteous and upbeat manner.
· A good level of technical comprehension and drive in ensuring product and domain knowledge remain current
Desirable:
· Comprehension & knowledge of modern software architectures, operating systems and/or networking software
· Experience of salesforce.com
· Competence in other European and/or Asian languages
Essential:
Educated to ‘A’ level/senior high school standard or equivalent
Trained in selling and negotiation techniques
Additional factors
As they are an international business and operate across different time zones, you may be required to work outside of normal office hours.
This role offers an extremely competitive salary and commission structure & exceptional benefits package.
