Job description
Established in 1971, PSS is an independent, leading supplier of power steering, hydraulic and precision engineered products.
If you're hardworking, physically fit and don't mind grafting then this is the role for you. As a Production Operative, you will be required to undertake a wide range of duties within the business, including disassembling various used mechanical parts to prepare them for cleaning, re-assembly and testing. You must be prepared to work in a busy industrial environment and prepared to "get your hands dirty".
The role:
- Disassembling and preparing used parts for re-assembly and testing.
- Fast paced work following strict process instructions.
- Keeping the workshop clean and tidy at all times.
- Assist on parts cleaning and shot blasting line when required.
- Any other tasks, as required by the business.
The Candidate:
- Experience in a factory environment preferred.
- Strong work ethic essential.
- Able to work under pressure to meet strict production targets.
- Good communication skills, written and verbal.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Can work as part of a team or on own initiative.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £11.00 per hour
