As a Production Operative you can expect a varied role that will contribute to the output and quality of our products.

We have an exciting opportunity for a number of vacancies due to the recent and continued growth of the Weber Business and specifically its production facility in Flitwick. The roles offer full training and progression through training and skill as well as increase salary brackets. You’ll be part of the Weber team in Flitwick. Weber is one of more than 30+ exciting Saint-Gobain brands in the UK and, since 1927, has been the UK’s leading manufacturer of industrial mortar products including renders and decorative finishes, tile fixing products, floor screeds, technical mortars and external wall insulation systems. With close to 100 years’ experience within the mortar industry, this is an amazing place to start your career!

We work on a weekly rotating shift pattern of earlies and lates:

Week 1 6am-2pm Monday to Friday

Week 2 2pm-10pm Monday to Thursday then 1pm-8pm on the Friday

We can be flexible and offer job share for those looking for part-time

Once fully trained, key focus areas for the role would include;

  • Safely work on production lines and operate both manual and automated machineries in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Undertake general tasks within the mortar plant at the discretion of and under the direction of the production supervisors.
  • Safely operate designated mechanical handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner to achieve targets in loading/unloading production lines as well as storing and handling of goods as defined by the company.
  • Maintain and take responsibility for housekeeping in working area.
  • Keeping all systems up to date, ensuring all data is inserted accurately in a timely manner.
