PRODUCTION OPERATIVE

VIL Resins Limited - Bolton

£23,712.00 pa (plus £1,070 bonus) - Full-time Position

VIL Resins Limited are an independently owned manufacturing business, who have been established for over 80 years supplying the paint and coatings industry. They are seeking an experienced Production Operative to work 38 hours per week. The role is 5 days per week, working at our site based in Bolton. Pay will be £23,712 pa, plus a bonus worth £1070, dependent on company performance and attendance record.

They are looking for someone with a can-do attitude who is approachable and works well as part of a wider manufacturing team. The right person will be forward thinking, be able to work under their own initiative, as well as contributing to a detailed manufacturing process. You must be health and safety minded, as well as being focused on quality of work being produced.

Once established within the business there is further opportunities to develop into other roles, with a set training program to develop within the company.

The office is based in Bolton, 2 miles from the town centre, with its own onsite parking. Hours of work will be 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Thursday, and 8am to 3pm Fridays.

Job description and roles:

• Warehouse operation, with management of goods in and goods out systems.
• Despatching of finished goods, ensuring quality of material.
• Stock management of raw materials and finished goods.
• Fork lift truck operation to move products around the site.
• Ensuring good manufacturing, housekeeping, quality, and health & safety standards throughout the site.

Key skills required for the Production Operative job include:

· Previous experience within manufacturing would be desirable (minimum 1 year).

· Demonstrate strong organisational and multi-tasking skills with an attention to detail.

· Good work ethic, a team player who can also work independently.

· Be a good communicator.
