The Company:
We are recruiting for a well-established UK company who specialise in the manufacture of Industrial temperature sensors and associated products and the supply of process measurement instrumentation. The company places a strong emphasis on providing the very best level of quality for all of the products they manufacture.
The Role:
We are currently looking for an individual who is either looking to start a career within the world of manufacturing or wants to use their current manufacturing skills in a new production environment. This is an entry level position that offers an excellent opportunity for long term career progression and the role includes the following aspects:
1. Electronic sub-assembly techniques of sensor elements and cables using spark & tweezer welding, soft and silver soldering, epoxying and hand / machine crimping
2. Mechanical manufacturing techniques using hand tools, tig & Plasma welding, drilling, milling and turning using lathes, pipe threading, cleaning, grinding & polishing using bench and hand power tools.
3. Machine cutting, coiling and wire preparation of sensor cables
