Job Title: Production Operative
This is a unique opportunity to work in an exciting industry and become a valuable member of the Pyramid Plastics team.
We are a world-renowned designer of aftermarket motorcycle accessories, striving to improve the functionality and style of a huge range of motorcycles. We have a huge product range dating back to the late 80's and distributed internationally.
As the company is growing rapidly, we are now looking to add a Production Operative who can join our experienced team and ensure the quality and safe packaging of our specialist products.
This role will involve:
- Reporting direct to your Production Team Leader & Warehousing Manager.
- Thoroughly checking products during the packing process to ensure perfect quality.
- Ensuring products are packed correctly – following required packing procedures.
- Receiving component item deliveries and ensuring they are promptly organised and safely stored.
- Safely storing newly packed stock by scanning into designated trolley locations – ready for the stores operative to collect.
- Ensuring the component stock is organised and optimised continuously, rotating stock as required.
- Performing periodic stock checks to ensure component stock figures are correct.
- Ensuring the production area is always clean and tidy, free from trip & slip hazards.
- Relevant Health and Safety standards and checks to be adhered to.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous Packing/Production Experience.
- Previous Quality Control Experience.
- Exemplary Communication Skills.
- Team Player.
- Can do attitude.
- Adaptability.
- A keen eye for detail.
- The ability to multitask.
- Pro-active.
- Passionate.
