TEMPORARY Production Operatives required for approx. 2 months

Immediate Start, Interviews to be held on Tues 6th & Wed 7th June.

We are looking for temporary workers for our Bakery in Warminster – BA12 8SP

£11.55 per hour, Monday to Friday 09.00am –17.00pm

Looking for candidates who are able to commit to the above

Responsibilities:

  • Weighing, wrapping, hand packing, labelling, bag sealing, boxing, and palletising all hand packed products.
  • Handling and moving / palletising finished goods as applicable.
  • Decanting, inspecting, weighing, and tipping ingredients into the mixer.
  • Operating labeller, and “stop” switches.
  • Lifting, opening packaging, inspecting the product on the inspection belt, labelling, weighing, sealing, palletising and metal detecting.
  • Carrying out Weigh Checks.
  • Operate the Sheeting line for icing of slabs and cakes.
  • Cleaning of machinery, equipment, environment.
  • Follow the Food Safety Rules of M&F which are designed to ensure that M&F complies with all current EU and UK legislation and the requirements of our customers.
  • Wear the protected clothing and safety equipment provided by M&F and ensure that it is clean and in good repair.
  • Undertake work in any of the following departments - hand packing, main packing including mixing, processing and re–cleaning room or warehouse, as requested by a supervisor or manager.
  • Complete departmental and technical records as required by each task undertaken in a legible and accurate way.
  • Report all problems to your immediate Line Leader or other supervisor or manager.
  • Undertake any other reasonable tasks in relation to business needs and to allow the smooth running of the department.

Job Type: Temporary contract
Contract length: 2 months

Salary: £11.00-£11.55 per hour
