Job description

At Johnsons Hotel Linen we are looking for Production Operatives to work within our laundry facility. It's a dynamic place to work, at the heart of our business and alongside a friendly team. We are looking to increase the night shift.

  • 5 nights a week on a fixed shift 10pm to 6am.
  • Various night shifts available including weekends, please enquire

The role

  • Working under the direction of the Supervisors and Shift Managers in order to ensure that the Company provides a high quality and reliable service
  • Assisting with the unloading of company vehicles
  • Sorting linen in the sorting area
  • Operating the washing / ironing machines
  • Feeding linen through the ironers, towel folding or other processing equipment
  • Taking linen off the end of the production process line and adopting quality control procedures
  • Assisting with the storage and packing of the finished goods
  • Helping with the general duties within the production facility which may include cleaning
  • Assist the loading / transport department on site in the event of exceptional circumstances

Essential Criteria

No experience is required, full training will be provided
