Title: Production Operator
Due to relocation and expansion, EPA Manufacturing are looking for experienced Production Operatives. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable key workers, with a production background, to join a leading Defence Company
Production Operative-Job Summary
The role requires the use of manual and automated equipment, with independent and operator quality control checks throughout the process, using a variety of gauges and measuring equipment, in line with our quality management systems and good working practices.
We require the highest quality, good accuracy, and attention to detail, which must always be maintained.
Ability to maintain concentration especially when performing high volume work.
A background in Pyrotechnics, ammunition, or explosives, will be useful.
Good housekeeping and a calm and methodical disposition is essential.
Production Operative-Qualifications and Skills
Demonstrable experience in manufacturing operations is essential. (Specific job training will be given.)
Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye co-ordination.
IT and numerical skills
Basic Computer Literacy an advantage
Good practical and technical skills.
Ideally the role would suit someone with the willingness to acquire new knowledge and skills and to take ownership of personal development and grow with the company.
Hours M-F 8am - 4.30 plus overtime and occasional shift work
Wages: initially £9.60 rising to £11.65, with further increases as role expands.
