Job description
Thorpe Labs are looking for Production Assistants to join our team making medicines for the UK Pharmaceutical market based at our site in Mablethorpe. Start date would be immediate and the role will be permanent.
The role is primarily to carry out production/packaging of finished products and cleaning of the production area. All work is to be carried out in accordance with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice) requirements and the company’s SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). Staff will be working in a production line team, so teamwork and the ability communicate effectively with others on site is of importance. Duty and responsibilities include:
- Read all the SOPs which are applicable to their particular role, as instructed by their production manager/ production supervisor
- Assemble Raw and packaging materials.
- Dispense materials for production.
- Manufacture bulk product.
- Set up and run all machinery and equipment in for manufacturing and packing.
- Cleaning of machinery and equipment after completion.
- Complete documentation applicable to their duties.
Salary
Operatives salary is dependent on competency and experience within the production environment and with the equipment on site.
Should have experience in production industry (pharmaceutical and food industry preferred).
