Job description
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Production Operative to join the Production team at our Uxbridge site.
As a Production Operative you will assist the Production Manager in preparation, production and all aspects of daily tasks within the production team.
Production:
- Assist the production team in measuring, grading and feeding raw material into the production machinery.
- Assist the production team in the weighing, sealing and packing of various food products.
- Correctly operate production line machinery to prepare, assemble, seal and label various products.
- Monitor the production process and immediately notify the line leader of any issues arising.
- Assist the production team in ensuring that products and/or materials are taken to packing stations as and when required.
- Packing finished goods ready for shipment or despatch.
- Help to maintain a clean and safe working environment by ensuring your station is clean and tidy at all times
- To respect and honour the sentiment of the Cranswick ethical policies and codes of conduct, when interacting with your colleagues at all times.
Food Safety and Hygiene:
- Comply with the company food safety and hygiene policies and procedures at ALL times.
- Correctly storing goods and raw materials within the factory and/or warehouse.
- Meet the daily production plan requirements without compromising on food safety, hygiene, quality and legality.

- Good understanding of English, both written and verbal

- Able to work quickly and methodically and maintain a high level of concentration at all times

Additional Info:
Various shift availability:
- 15:30 to 23:00 (37 ½ hour contract) - During the first 3 months, you will be required to attend training on night shift (23:00pm – 7:00am).
- 07:00 to 15:30 (40-hour contract)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £10.82-£11.12 per hour
