Avondale Foods is a leading food processing company of Fresh and Chilled products supplying leading retail businesses such as Marks & Spencer, and Morrison’s and Waitrose in the UK.Key Responsibilities:To prepare a range of products that meet company standards and customer’s specifications and requirements.Working within various areas of the chilled factory the job role will vary from preparing, making and packing quality food products.To process raw materials by manual operation and with the use of food processing machinery in line with quality and department procedures at all timesTo label products ensuring that all details, i.e., date are accurateTo pack final products into boxes/crates as per customer requirementsTo complete required quality sheets and production documentations accuratelyTo observe good housekeeping within the area and general surroundingsTo adhere to Company General Policies, i.e., Food Safety, Health SafetyTo do any other reasonable duties as requiredKey Competencies:Organised· Supportive and committed to achieving goals and delivering results against time lines.· Ability to work independently when required and prioritize workload.Communication· Working effectively with other key functions: operations, technical, process packaging.· Effective one to one communication with all team members.Collaboration· Working within a group of individuals with a diverse set of skills and talents working together towards a common goal.· Sharing ideas and improving each other’s work.
