Mathiesons Bakery are pleased to offer this with our current vacancies.As a well-established organisation specialising in Baked and Chilled goods for a number of major retailers and due to expanding business, we are looking for Production Operatives in our Ambient Department. The ideal candidate(s) will come from a manufacturing background in food production; however, we offer a training programme that will get you up to speed in no time.As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for producing an assortment of bakery and chilled products, meeting production plans and keeping waste to a minimum. This will include the mixing, weighing, packing, labelling and various other tasks relating to the production of our sweet treats. You will help and support your fellow colleagues, whilst building good working relationships. We pride ourselves on having a safe working environment and we would therefore expect all employees to follow Health and Safety policies and procedures including the reporting of accidents and near misses.
