We are looking for an enthusiastic Accounting Manager based in the Nottingham area to join our team. A natural team builder who will manage a small team In a fast paced, super exciting environment as we transition from a start-up sized business to a medium sized business.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating and analysing financial reports
- Managing the transactional team
- Assuming a leadership role to guide accounting personnel in daily tasks
- Maintaining the general ledger
- Reconciling financial statements
- Preparing and reviewing tax returns
- Performing research and analysis
- Assisting with audit preparations
- Assisting in cash forecasting
- Overseeing payments
- Reconciling and consolidating inter-company accounts
- Reviewing financial data to support forecasting decisions
- Investigating variances to budget
- Communicating with company Executives about financial positions and strategies
- Alongside a variety of ad-hoc duties
Qualifications
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA
- 2+ years post qualification experience in a commercial environment

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including overseeing the preparation of financial statements, developing and maintaining internal controls, monitoring cash flow, and managing accounts payable and receivable. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
