Job description
Dairy farm worker/assistant herd manager required on dairy farm in South West Scotland.
The successful applicant will be involved in all aspects of the daily milking routine and weekly herd health protocols. The job will have a particular focus on cow health and wellbeing and will include being part of the milking team, operating a small telehandler for yard duties, monitoring calving cows and some youngstock work.
The job could be moulded to suit the applicants previous experience and strengths with opportunity to progress within the team.
A high level of attention to detail, motivation to work and good animal husbandry skills are key requirements. Some previous dairy farm experience is required.

Salary: £11.00-£16.00 per hour
