Reporting to the Plant Manager you will work as part of the Rugby Senior Management Team with overall responsibility for Production supporting your five Shift Managers and their direct reports (Process Leaders, Shift Technicians and Operators)
Responsible for creating a safe collaborative working environment, maintaining, and further developing the plant production facility whilst ensuring the quality of all manufactured products is in accordance with agreed company / customers specifications.
Who are we looking for?
An experienced high-volume manufacturing and production leader that has the gravitas to manage a large culture turnaround to deliver great sustainable results. This opportunity and vision should excite the individual and through taking accountability and delivery of successful, sustainable results they should be able to quickly progress to the next level of managing an FMCG plant within a large global company. This person will have significant production and lean experience and will have delivered large scale people and KPI improvements in previous roles that can be easily articulated and demonstrated.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
At least 5 years operating at a senior level as part of the plant senior leadership team with a hands on approach
Experience in a high speed, complex, fast paced environment with continuous production lines for example the automotive/airspace industry
Experience in managing and implementing large scale change
Lean, SMED or Greenbelt qualification
Results driven
