Hours: 39 per week – rotating between 0600-1400 and 1400-2200

What does it mean to be an Arbor Forest Products Production Machinist?
You will be required to set and run the Leadermacs and Waco Moulders and handling equipment to schedule from drawings issued. Utilising the wrapper and infeed operatives to assist in these duties and signing off their work when done. To include in-production quality checks and processing information.
Production Machinist role and responsibilities
- Setting and operation of the Leadermacs and Waco moulders infeed and outfeed accelerator units
- Setting of moulders to works schedule. Using the moulder system.
- Daily cleaning and maintenance of the moulder.
- Reporting of any maintenance issues via T-card system.
- Quality checks of machined product, ensuring best finish and to the works drawing.
- Signing off quality sheet.
- Filling the packs process sheet and picking correct pack ticket.
- Utilising the wrapping operative to set the moulder outfeed HMI and bundling system to the works schedule. Oversee it is done correctly and signing off.
- Trouble shooting of moulder and all handling equipment.
- Carry all work out in-line with to current risk assessment and Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.P)
- Ensuring daily production targets are met
